7 Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills

1. Creative Thinking: Think outside the box; be able to offer solutions to the problem.

3. Conceptual Thinking: Paint a picture by combing series of information; Be able to understand the problem by root cause; Determine what's the best course of action to take. Basically, this is where the decision comes in.

1. Ethics: Make sure that things are done as the way they should do and then following laid down procedures.

2. Trustworthiness: Look at the situation where you are as a BA and analysis somebody who can actually be reckoned with and trusted on. Then to have a high level of integrity on him.

1. Business Acumen: Don't forget that you are doing business analysis, the key word here is "Business"; You should understand what's the business is about.

2. Organization Knowledge: Understand how the org is structured; How various processes interact or various interfaces interact withinin org.

4. Solution Knowledge: Fully understand on the solution will help you expedite discover the potential changes.

4 Communication Skills

70% communication is non-verbal; You ability to communicate to a large extent will be dependent on how good you are with regards to the nonverbal communications.

- Leadership and influencing is refer to the ability to communicate vision and motivate members to work towards accomplishment of the initiative.
