原文:
修之于身，其德乃真；修之于家，其德乃余；修之于乡，其德乃长；修之于邦，其德乃丰；修之于天下，其德乃普。
译文:
修行自身，他的德行就会返朴归真。
修行家庭，这个家的德行就会充实有余。
修行家乡，这个乡的德行就会传颂久长。
修行国家，这个国的德行就会丰富盈满。
修行天下，天下的德行就会像阳光那样普照万物。
我的翻译:
To practice it for himself, his virtue will be simple.
To practice it in his family, the virtue in his family will be rich.
To practice it in his hometown, the virtue in
his hometown will be long.
To practice it in his country, the virtue in his
country will be plentiful.
To practice it in the world ,the virtue in the
world will shine like sunlight.
