As countries develops, more and more people buy and use their own cars. Do you think advantages of these trained for individuals over the the disadvantages for the environment?
With the advances of countries, numerous people own and use private cars. From my point of view, this trend is not without benefits, but the drawbacks of it are more evident.
Admittedly, I have to concede that owing private cars has many advantages in our daily life. First of all, it is a convenient way for people to work, because people usually wait for a long time by taking public transportation, especially in the peak time, while driving private cars can have a relatively free time to change the starting time and route. Secondly, people drive their own cars as the way of transportation to protect their privacy and health. It can be explained by the fact that in the private cars people can listen to the music in any volume，while in the public places broadcasting the sounds of phone loudly is not permitted. Also, under the COVID-19, driving a private car can avoid possible infection in the same space and protect their health.
However, the increasingly numerous private cars leads to the growth of consumption of petrol. Increasing cars will bring much more carbon emissions, which is an essential reason for global warming. Besides, the bad patrol from the cars will also change the climate, for example, the appearance of air pollution and the smoggy weather. Thus, the extent of damage in increasing cars is serious.
In conclusion, although driving private car can bring convenient to individuals, it is not beneficial to the environment and the global climate, people can take more public transport in the spare time.
