In this passage I'd like to share something in Chapter11 to Chapter14 from the book—— The Little Prince.

In the four chapters, the writer narrates the little prince's travel to four asteroids, where he encountered four men——a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, and a lamplighter.  Through the experiences, the little prince found adults really odd.

My favorite part of the four is the little prince's visit to the tippler. Here are some excerpts from their conversation.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm drinking."

"Why are you drinking?"

"So that I may forget."

"Forget what?"

"Forget that I am ashamed."

"Ashamed of what?"

"Ashamed of drinking!"

“我正喝酒呢。”

“你为什么要喝酒？”

“为了忘确……”

“忘确什么？”

“忘确我的羞愧。”

“你为什么羞愧？”

“因为醉酒！”

In this book, the little prince encountered many persons on various planets. Each person he met on these planets symbolized a characteristic of adults in general.

The drunk man felt ashamed of drinking but, instead of stopping it, he chose to continue drinking to forget his shame. It sounds ridiculous，but there are really some persons in  our daily life who are most like the drunkard.  In the face of difficulties, they have no courage and  are too stubborn and unwilling to address their problems.
