Today we wrote about a tornado drill.
Last week Our school had a tornado drill. First Mr. Shiek said the weather was bad, it was a tornado drill.
Then, we went under our desks and put our hands on our heads.
Next Miss Dallner, my teacher closed the lights and made the room dark.
Later Mr.Shiek walked around the school and said good job to everybody.
Finally he went back to the office and said on The PC: The Tornado Drill is over, you can go back to what you were doing.
The tornado was over.
How to do a tornado drill?
You have to go under your desk and be as quiet as you can to be safe. If the ceiling falls down you probably don't want to get squashed.
What is a tornado?
A tornado is bad weather. It's something that is made out of hot air and cold air. It can suck things up to the sky such as trees, people, houses, buildings, cars, and etc.
We don't get tornados often in Canada, in a hour away city, they get tornados a lot though.
