从清朝末年开始,四川地区的造币厂通用龙模铸造银元,自从清朝灭亡、民国成立以后,四川地区的造币厂开始废除龙模,由四川军政府自创模型,钱币正面中央珠圈内镌“四川银币”四个字,四个字中间镌一朵精美的芙蓉花,象征蓉城成都珠圈外上端镌“军政府造”四个字,下端镌币值“壹圆”,左右两侧各镌一个四瓣花星,银币背面中央圆圈内镌一个篆文“汉”字,代表了新政府“大汉”的意思,具有反清意义。有横向底纹装饰,旁围十八个小圆圈组成的圆圈,内镌纵向饰纹,象征着当年响应辛亥革命的十八个省。圈外上端镌“中华民国元年”六个字,是军政府造四川银币中最稀贵的版别。这一钱币模型就成为了四川银元的定型,后来一直没有改变。

The inscription "the first year of the Republic of China" on the top outside the circle is the rarest and most expensive edition of Sichuan silver coins made by the military government. This coin model became the setting of Sichuan silver dollar, which has not changed since then.
