Summary

Liz Truss is facing a severe political situation. A restive parliamentary party may be the hardest challenge as the cost of living crisis will dominate the country.

For rebel groups, the prominent group is members coalesced around Sunk who lambasted her proposed tax cuts as fairytale economics. The second group is diehard supporters of Johnson. Caucus of 109 parliamentarians is also the most difficult one to deal with. Some former ministers don't care too much with no further prospect of a ministerial career.

Alive to all these problems, Johnson twittered that it's time to get behind her 100 percent.
