Many people hold that we can learn english well as long as we're self-motivated. Going to the training center for learning english can be a waste of time and money. In the past, I had the same idea. I firmly believed english learning can be self-taught. Besides, some successful english learners like Crazy Li Yang are the best proof. They master the language only through their constant efforts. They can succeed. So can I. But it turns out to be a failure. I have to admit that my lacking of firm will mainly contributes to my failure.
Then what should I do?
I have to work, take care of my little daughter, read books and write down notes, wash clothes, and clean the house...To speak frankly, I am really busy doing so many things. I have no time to guarantee constant learning.
In this circumstance, I take the initiative to go to the Webi International English. It took me almost 40,000 yuan.
Some people tell me it's not worth going to the training center. In my view, whether it's worthwhile or not depends on what attitude you hold. Instead of learning english knowledge, my main purpose is to improve my spoken english. The Private Class and Salons provide me good opportunites to practise my oral englsih. More importantly, other webi learners have a postive effect on my english lerning. Their private learning stories are the best evidence. Althoug they are quite busy, they can persist in learnig english. They can. So can I. Their true stories remind me that I should go on. This can't be learned in self-taught study. This is really precious for me.
However, don't misunderstand me. You can't always rely on the training center. To master english needs constant practice. After all, learning time at the training center is quite limited. So the best is to practice more after class just as a saying goes "practice makes perfect".
Therefore, whether it's worth going to the training center or not depends on what attitudes you have towards training center and how to make use of it.
