Write your own paragraph about the pie chart below. The chart shows the fruit preferences of primary school children in New Zealand. Follow the two models in this lesson and focus carefully on the grammar point from this unit. Try to include some of the vocabulary words as well.
This pie chart shows the percentage distribution of fruit preference of New Zealand primary school students. Generally speaking, students prefer bananas, strawberries and oranges. Bananas are the most popular of all fruits, accounting for 34% of pie charts. Pupils also like strawberries and oranges, accounting for 27% and 15% respectively. Only 14% and 7% of primary school students like apples and peaches, and few like them. Kiwifruit is the least popular fruit in the survey.
