What is this place we call Texas? If you ask some people what they think of Texas, they might say it is a dry, limitless desert with mountains, canyons, cactus and an occasional sagebrush. They think everyone in Texas lives in an adobe house, wears a cowboy hat and rides a horse to work. Although this is somewhat true of West Texas, the state is just about as varied as it is big.
