Brief Introduction

In the past few years, physical bookstore went bankrupt one after another and we believed that it was an industry without any hope in the future. Bookstores in the Internet age were like movie theaters in the TV era. Everyone expected nothing of it, while the reality was beyond expectations. Since 2013, China’s physical bookstores have begun to reform their business models by transforming from book sales only to the mixture of many operation types. Currently physical bookstore investment is still an incremental market with more and more bookstores appearing in urban center. Many independent bookstore brands have also become an instant hit, such as Eslite, Fangsuo, Sisyphe.
