五个表达

1.guard down

原句:So I kind of let my guard down.

词义:放松警惕,放轻松

主人公不认为父亲是真的生气,仍然没有意识到问题的严重性。

造句:The police can't let himself guard down.

2.got ahold of

原句:Manny got ahold of one of Rodrick's heavy metal magazines,

词义:拿出,也可以用来表达与某人保持联系,或者头脑保持冷静

造句:I get ahold of one of newspapers in the library.

3.march sb. up

原句:Dad marched me up to my room and shut the door behind him,

词义:前行,行进,使某人前往…

造句:My friends and me march into the classroom when the tinkle of bells.

4.run for

原句:I told dad that I was running for student goverment.

词义:竞选

同义词:campaign for ; stand for;

造句:I was ran for the position of Student council chairman last week.

5.lay it on you

原句:But then after a few days, right when you forget you're in trouble, that's when she lays it on you.

词义:直译是将某物放在某人身上,在该句子中翻译为对某人实施惩罚,lay 这个单词用的很妙。

造句:My math teacher lays the mistakes on me.



两个句子

1.And then I guess he decided he'd rather be in bed than standing in the my room in his underwear.

句型:rather ... than ...   宁愿…也不愿…

造句:My father would rather working hard himself than letting me feel a little uncomfortable.

2.To be honest with you, I have never had any interest in student goverment.

句型:句子中出现了两个否定词never,any。双重否定表肯定,这个表达方式大家都知道,但是很少有人下意识的去应用。

造句:I have never had any cheat to my friends and family.



日记

I feel pretty anxious about the final exams, because I have never seriously paid my attention on what the teacher's saying in class.

And present, it is high time to review these subjects, meantime, I don't trust me who have the persistance to study at least 7 hours per day, hence, I was made a bet with my partner for mutually encouragement.
