Tess carrying a heavy basket to home ,alec leading the horse and caught up with her :why did you slip away in secret like that ? i wont come back. Tess said quietly .i wish i had never been born, if i had ever loved you ,if i love you still ,i could not hate myself for my weakness as much as i do now.tess had no fear of him now .im sorry to hurt you ,i did wrong i admit it .only dont keep accusing me ,im ready to pay for it .you need never work on the farms and i wont be bad to you again .(alec said )i will not take anything from you ,i have never loved you and never can .(tess said ) then alec jumped up into his carriage and drove off. tess did not watch him go,but continued her walk alone .

Tess reached her home ,it was as poor as ever .her monther jumped up ,surprised to see her .have you come to be married ? no. He’s not my cosion and not going to marry me .tess told her monther whole story and everything .and you havent persuaded him to mary you ? tess heart braking .she was a child when she left home . no one warn her about men and how dangerousd they can be.she would certainly never love alec in the future.
苔丝回到家，家里贫穷依旧。她妈妈很惊讶的看着她，苔丝是回来结婚的吗？他不是我的亲戚也不会娶我。苔丝把整个故事告诉了她妈妈。你没有说服他娶你吗？苔丝心都碎了，她离家时只是个孩子，没人警告她关于男人的危险，但是她确信她将来也不会爱上他。

Tess had lost her innocence.she looked into her future ,and very depressed .she had nothing to look forward to and she wanted to die .she spent almost all her time in her bedroom to avoid people whispering to her .

Tess living as a stranger in her home village .she had decided to do outdoor work and earn a littly money in the harvest .when11 clock ,her sister carried in her arms a baby and another brought some lunch.

Tess stopped work and sat down to sarted to eat and drink,tess cant help to kiss the baby again and again. She loves the child though she hates alec.she had spent months regretting her experience and crying over it , but suddently decided that the past was the past .the trees were just as green and the sun just as brightly as before.life went on .
苔丝停下手里的工作开始吃饭，她亲着这个小孩停不下来，她爱这个孩子虽然她恨ALEC .她花了几个月时间去遗憾她的经历并为此大哭，但她突然发现过去的就过去了。树依然绿太阳依旧明亮如初。生活继续。
She most feared what people thought of her ,in fact she was not often be discuessed .she would have accepted the situation as it was.

So she dressed neatly and helped in the field ,and looked people calmly in the face,even when holdding her baby in her arms.

But unfortunely her baby was ill serious ,he was so small and weak .his death was a big shock to tess.
但是很遗憾她的瘦弱的小孩病了，病的很严重。孩子的死去对苔丝是一个大的打击。
She had suffered .hope of finding a place with no family connections and no menmories ,in escaping to destory the past.trying to claim relationship with the rich d’urbervilles seemed so foolish and shameful to her.
苔丝所遭受的，让她希望找个没有家庭联系和回忆的地方，去逃避这些过往。和有钱的德博家攀亲戚是让她觉得如此愚蠢和丢脸。
Finally she heard that some miles away need a good milkmaid for the summer .tess dicided to go there .
最终她听说几里外有个招挤牛奶干的活，她觉得去那里。
