Studies show that superagers appear to be more resilient to the slings and arrows of life, and are more extroverted and less neurotic. But they have also made another discovery.
1.Superagers:

superagers appear to be more resilient to the slings and arrows of life, and are more extroverted and less neurotic
其中动词并列:appear to be 和 are

KKH, everyone claims, is handsome.
Everyone claims (that) KKH is handsome.
(1)主谓结构做插入语的时候可以不加逗号隔开;
There is says the Treasure secretary a flaw in the system.
= the Treasure secretary says (that) there is a flaw in the system.
KKH claims everyone is handsome.
Aman, who Kevin thought was handsome, is getting fat.
It is really sorry.

It is worth noting, too, a day after International Women’sDay, that this is a war on women: those in public sector or low-paid private sector jobs are disproportionately likely to be women who have borne the brunt of government cuts. What most scares the vested interests and the political party who represents them are workers joining the dots: realising that their own struggles cannot be divorced from the injustices suffered by others.

1)joining the dots
2) disproportionately 不符合比例的;
Health spending tends to rise disproportionately in some poor countries.
His face is disproportionately big.
The plan would disproportionately benefit the wealthy and squeeze the poor.
1)Coping with the transition from medical school;
应对从医学院的过渡;
2)questioning whether they were suited to the practice of medicine;
3)the impact of exposure to patient suffering;
4)the seeming impossibility of reconciling family and professional demands;
Reconcile:
5)the emotional complexity of leaving or abandoning a medical career.
The combination of careers advice and psychological counselling was “a bizarre hybrid of a job”, and one very few people are employed by the NHS to do – but she wishes there were more.

A great deal= very
1)The combination of careers advice and psychological counselling was “a bizarre hybrid of a job”
2)one very few people are employed by the NHS to do
3) she wishes there were more
