不管是生活中，还是在网络世界中，我们总是会遇到那种伸手就问你要这要那，帮他们做这做那的人，真的是很气愤了。我截取了它的百科定义，那么“伸手党”这个词有没有英语来描述它呢，我们一起来看看吧。

还真有，伸手党的英语表达是 free rider

free rider原意是“搭便车的人”，后来引申为“伸手党”，等着搭载别人的车，坐享其成，就是说这一类的人了。

什么是伸手党？

A free rider is a person who benefits from something without expending effort or paying for it. In other words, free riders are those who utilize goods without paying for their use.

”伸手党“指的就是从不需要耗费精力和支付金钱等的事情上受益的一类人。换句话说，伸手党就是不想付出却要使用东西的一类人。

还有个词，我也不得不提下下，就是一起吃饭，总是习惯在临时说I forget my wallet的人。英语也有形容这类人的词moocher

moocher /'mu:tʃə/  n. 乞丐；敲诈者；揩油者（指不断索取从不付出）

a person who lives off others without giving anything in return.

moocher就是靠别人生活（live off others）却不给任何东西作为回报的人。

跟”啃老族“（boomerang generation / kids / children）绝对有一拼了
