What i have learnt

From this article, i have got the draft idea of the science, which relies on reasoning, observation and experiment. Science is on going search for truth. Scientists make observations, form a theory and then carry out experiments to falsify or reconfirm.

The author clearly presented the progression of science from 6th and 5th centuries BCE to the 21st century. From the progression of ideas, i've learnt that every advance in science, to some extent, depends on previous works and theories. As the great physicist Issac Newton said: "If i have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."

The science has leapfrogged and will continue to amaze the world.

My Thoughts

Based on my current knowledge of science and the skills i've mastered in English. This article does not seem difficult to me regarding to the words and sentences. However, there are still new words and phrases that are not familiar to me. So there is still a long way to go to be excellent in reading.

Read more and read widely.

Learn more and learn wisely.
