I attend the English corner this evening. The topic is "Gender gap".

We discussed warmly. Girls said that they were refused in interview just because of gender. I said the HR is foolish. As a manager in multinational company, I couldn't do that with word, just do it.(It is a joke.) One girl said women is weak, then she explained she means power, than men. I didn't agree. I consider that the standard of a job is same to man and woman, Anyone who meet the standard can get the job. For example, a man in my group said one girl couldn't be a fireman. He ask,"Do you ever see a woman as a fireman?" I said I never see, but it doesn't matter. Any girls who want to be a fireman and meet the standard of fireman can be a fireman. That is my point.
