【每篇文章的第一句都写的太棒了，忍不住拿来膜拜，整个大句式由range from A to B结构组成。planned 、intensive 和 casual 对应,in a foreign country 和 at home对应 ，investigation又和introspection 对应。introspection和experimentation又是相对立的。写出了范围之广，语意丰富、精准。intensive是集中的意思，它的反义词前天刚摘录过，是extensive表广泛。另be available for sth 表示对什么有用，也很实用。】

【这句话理解起来有点难度，最大的拦路虎在单词上，生词太多，但仔细审视这些都是常规用词，informant 信息提供者；ambiguity 含糊，模棱两可的；acceptability 可接受可容性；utterance表达，说话方式；intuition直觉。单词积累任重道远刻不容缓呀】
3.A variety of tape-recording procedures have thus been devised to minimise the 'observer's paradox'
【be devised to 被设计用来…和be designed to 意思相同。minimise 动词，使最小化和maxmise互为反义。paradox表示悖论。】

【involve 和 stimulate 两个词用的特别形象，表明了topic要足够有趣能够使谈话者陷进去并受到激发。】
