子为何人？日所积尔
You are the books you read,
阅其经，
the films you watch,
观其影，
the music you listen to,
闻其声，
the people you meet,
查其人，
the dreams you have, the conversations you engage in.
日之所思，夜之所梦，
You are what you take from these.
凡此种种，汝所存也。
You are the sound of the ocean,
如海之涛涛，
the breath of fresh air,
气之不绝，
the brightest light and the darkest corner.
如阳之极，阴之至，
You are a collective of every experience you have had in life.
所行所历，汝之所存。
You are every single day.
所行所历，即为汝也。
So drown yourself in knowledge and existence.
故，敢不醉心书海，始于格物，
Let the words run through your veins and let the colors fill your mind.
