The first idea come up from my mind is that it is so long. Please forgive my sloth :P I found that Annie kindly underlines topic sentences, in which I was touched by the sentence " Writing changes the world because it changes minds". How beautiful and meaningful the sentence is! 

But the one that gives me the impluse to join in a writing class is that " it is the most effective mental exercise" in Chinese. Because, in Chinese, it expresses to readers directly that writing exercise, which is also the most effective way, makes your brain smarter by enhancing your IQ. The expression strikes me because it satisfies my desire to become smarter. 

I think a successful advertisement must inform customers that at least one of their demands can be satisfied by the targeted product. So you better buy it now! 

And a greater and successful advertisement, such as Annie's article, is to tell customers through account of advantages of the targeted product that you have a desire but you don't realise it before. Buy the services or goods, and you can become better than before. :P
