这首歌创作于2009年，是美国的一个选秀节目中，男主为出车祸后瘫痪的未婚妻创作的一首歌，以这首歌改编的中文版歌曲《在人间》火了一段时间，当时听到中文版，只觉得曲调上口，自己也不由自主跟着哼唱了一段时间，一直以为是我们国人自己创作的歌曲。
直到今天我同事耍抖音刷到这首歌的英文版，才知道了这首歌创作背景和身后发生的故事。
被这个故事吸引，于是便一句一句的抄下了他的歌词。
不知道作者现在的感情如何，会不会还和九年前一样深爱着这里的天使，守在身边，不离不弃，但不管他们现在如何，他当时创作的歌词，莫名的打动了我。
“我知道这是命中注定，你就是上天派给我的天使”，这是他们对待另一半时的观念，突然想到现在自己对爱人的各种嫌弃，老是哀叹自己当初的不成熟，怪介绍人的不负责任，怪父母的放任不管……怪这怪那，怎么会没想到这其实是上天的安排，自己当初也是有过海誓山盟，口口声声说过要给爱人幸福，她大学毕业就跟着我到现在，还为我生下个可爱的宝宝，她不就是我的天使吗！
