Recently I discovered that living in one country is not the key to master their language.
Well, it depends. Let's take my neighbor as an example. Their family has moved to Japan with their young son and has been living here for four years . I first met the child in the elevator and we had the usual talk like :"how old are you, how long have you been living here and such. After our brief encounter, I always overhear him talking in their home. As a typical child, he always invites his Chinese friend over to play some games loudly. They talk about who is more beautiful, which family is richer, what great food would they try next, how to spend their money etc. in Chinese. Well, I don't usually listen to their conversation but since they're too loud, I can hear everything they're saying and so far, I haven't heard anything about their future, how can they improve their score or some better ways to learn Japanese.
On the other hand, I know one Japanese boy who I can say is the total opposite of this kid. Even for his young age, he has a part time job. At first, I was shocked, I thought his family is not rich, that's why he needs to work to provide for the family but in fact, his family is very rich. He just takes a part time job to meet more people, to learn something in the real world. Basically, he's doing this for his future. Only for this? I cannot believe it because most people at his age don't really worry about their future, they just play video games, enjoy their time with their friends etc. So now, I totally believe that people are different even if they are the same age. No matter what you say, it all comes down to them. They have to help themselves so in the end, they will not blame life and society. Let's take this time to go back and see what you did in the past.

Even so, can we change it?
No. So guys, stop blaming anyone or anything, just change yourself. Only you can do this for yourself. Set a good example for others, especially for the next generation.
