翻译：Half an hour went by,but the last bus did not come。So we had to go home on foot。

过程：句子是因果关系，而且是发生在过去，所以使用so连接，并且使用过去式。

2)玛丽看上去对汉语考试很担心，因为她还没有背熟课文。

翻译：Mary looks very worry for the Chinese examination,because she had not learned the taxt by heart。

过程：前句使用一般现在时，后句使用过去完成时。两个句子之间用因果关系连接。

3)既然篮球赛被推迟，我们不妨去参观博物馆。

翻译：Now that the basketball match has been postponed ,we may wish to visiting the museum。

过程：前句篮球赛被取消使用被动句和过去式，后句使用一般将来时。

4)整个二次世界大战期间他一直和父母住在澳大利亚。

翻译：He was lived in Australia with his parents during the entire Second World War 。

过程：因为发生在过去所以使用一般过去式并且是使用并列关系。

5)自1985年从南京大学毕业至今，可以说我与我的大学同学失去了联系。

翻译：Since i graduated from Nanjing University in 1985,it can be say that i have kind of lose touch with my colleges。

过程：前句使用过去完成时，后句使用一般现在时。
