今天在学每日一词的时候查朗文字典看到这个短语“shape up”。
这个短语有三个含义：
1.to improve your behaviour or work
2.to make progress in a particular way
3.shape up or ship out AmE spoken used to tell someone that if they do not improve, they will be made to leave a place or their job
最后一个含义应该就是第一个improve的用法，我猜这个表达应该算是俚语，觉得挺有意思，跟大家分享下。
