Yesterday I learned a new word : dogma.
We chatted in a weixin group as usual. Someone shows a photo of his new bicycle and told us the name of photo was "狗和狗妈". I was curious why it called this. Then the man said that the name of picture was "dog and dogma" in English. I was more puzzled after he explained the name. So I clicked the picture to magnifiy it and found there was a dog in the picture . The dog was in the shadows, it was unconspicuous if you didn't find carefully. There was also a pair of hands to appear in the photo, so I misundertood that the photo was taken by his wife (or girlfriend), and "狗妈" refered to the camerist. So I said it should be called "一人，一车，一狗"("one person, one bike and one dog"). But the man further explained that "dogma" was the name of bicycle. I felt puzzled completely, why called the bicycle a so strange name. I thought "dogma" was a compound word which was made up of English word "dog" and Chinese syllable "ma". Embarrassly, I was told that dogma was a word and its meaning is "教条" in Chinese.
Although I made a joke，but I remember the word "dogma" deeply.
