5 924 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 60 people have died, 4 777 people have recovered.
2,302 cases have been identified in Tbilisi;
Adjara – 629,
Imereti – 803,
Kvemo Kartli – 376,
Shida Kartli – 381,
Guria – 157,
Samegrelo – Upper Svaneti – 412,
Kakheti – 537,
Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 165,
Samtskhe-Javakheti-77,
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 85.
A total of 523 022 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia, of which 458 265 have recovered and 6 891 have died.
As of August 24, there are 57,840 active cases of the virus in Georgia.
The National Center for Disease Control reports, as of August 24 a total of 1,010,096 vaccinations were administered.
703,945 people vaccinated with at least 1 dose – 24.6% of the adult population.
306,151 people are fully vaccinated – 10.7% of the adult population.
On August 23, 30,067 people were vaccinated.
