Chinese tech giant Huawei, high-tech industry group Amer International（正威集团）, and Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering（山东魏桥创业集团） ranked in the top three on the list of top 500 private companies（私营企业） in the manufacturing industry released on Aug 29, with the companies in second and third place swapping（交换） positions compared to last year's rankings.
It's worth noting that（值得注意的是） Shandong-based Xinfa Group（信发集团） nudged（推进，挤出） tech giant TCL Group out of this year's top 10.
Huawei also took the crown（位列第一） on the top 500 private Chinese companies list released on the same day. A total of 288 manufacturing enterprises made the list, indicating strong momentum（气势） in the industry.
The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce（中华全国工商业联合会） and Liaoning provincial people's government released the above two lists, along with relevant analysis reports, at the 2018 China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit held in Shenyang, Northeast China's Liaoning province.

Although few private companies survive in the market, those that do live contribute countless to national economic development and social progress. If China hopes to become a powerful country, a large quantity of high-end and innovative manufacturing enterprises should be there.
