A journey to Kathmandu is one of the definitive experiences for me at this early summer, as it makes me respect the diversity of individuals and the society. Therefore, hoping I could keep a more open mind to hug this world in my future life.

Religion and Sightseeing
Despite the effects of the earthquake in 2015, Kathmandu is city with magnificent temples, pogodas and shrines. At Boudha, ancient carvings jumped into my eyes every spare, the smell of incense and butter lamps hanging heavy in the air, the mystical atmosphere is heightened in the morning and evening by local devotees who make the ritual circumnavigation of the stupa. About Bhaktapur, it always described as the third of medieval city-states, the scars of the earthquake are pretty visible. Walking around that square, we can see narrow streets, red-brick houses and damaged temples. And the tradition at Pashupatinath is cremation, but there are different between the loyal famliy and ordinary Nepalis. Fires burned almost all the daytime, and we could see the process of cremation anytime. Besides that, I am sure that Nepal has lots of stories that beyonds my understanding.
Happiness and Love
This journey to Nepal with Jebel, our initual purpose is to do some useful things, like teaching or helping, and we found we learned a lot finally, we could better understand “ help and self-helped”“love and being loved”, we have to admit its a win-win game. At primary school, kids were very outgoing, they kept talking and laughing, we often found its difficult for us to control them, but each kids have their own talents, why should we control. And in the music class, they are very happy, I am sure whenever I see their smail faces, it can always give me a sense of happiness.(pls do not tell me too young to simple). About the orphan peoject, those kids they are very lovely, they are pretty good at singing, dancing and playing. Their world is much easy than adults, happiness and love could be a easy thing for them.Therefore, I hope I can always remain a sense of naive in my heart no matter what happened in the future, just being an interesting soul.
Lovely people and Special experiences
Jebel and I, we have known each other for 4 years, froming learning English together to studying in the UK, thanks for your accompany. Also, during this time in Nepal, we met lots of interested people: the boy from Shandong Province quit his job, stepping out and looking around as the world is too big. Anyway, I admire his braveness. Shak ti, our guidance and Nepali tutor, a very nice person, telling us the history of some attractions and values, taking care of our girls. Bai, a Tibetan, has her own thinking and carry it out without any hesitation. And for special experiences, the first day we came to Kathmandu, we came across the Music Featival, different bands they gave some plays of heavy rock music, showing the magic power of music. And also, we had dinner together with volunteers from different countries, such as USA, India, Belgium and Canada, we just had a conversation with each other like old friends.
Sunrise and Hamalayan
Nanargot has a reputation as the top spot for enjoying Himalayan views, and the most popular place to soak in the splendour is the Look out Tower, with killer 360-degree views at sunrise. It took us an hour's walk from our hotel to get there, Bai and I we got up around 4.30 am, we are not up for the dark, chilly morning walk, but the mountains are notorious for disappearing behind cloudy skies on that day, the first of July. And I enjoyed the breakfast in our hotel when we get back from Lookout tower, sitting in the courtyard and enjoying the sunshine, having a cup of milk tea, wind was soft, everthing was good and the pace of life slow down and down.
