Alan Mei's original works
I like the taste of the countryside, like the flavor of the countryside, like the cultural customs accumulated over a hundred years. People all yearn for big cities, like big Shanghai and old Beijing.
I was lucky to have been to Shanghai twice. Walking on the streets of Shanghai, I wondered whether I could meet the lonely translator in any street of Shanghai. Can I hear the famous music playing on the piano? It's the hand of a famous lady from Shanghai that makes me fascinated.
When I stood under the Oriental Pearl, I was excited about the history of the city in the past 100 years. Outstanding people live in this magnificent and tolerant city. What kind of city is it that can accommodate all nations, including the mutilated Jews, to escape from it?
The scene of Shanghai occupied by Japan naturally shifts to the scene of the liberation of Shanghai led by Marshal Chen Yi. In the Post-liberation history, Shanghai is the epitome of the forefront of the Chinese era. Until today, I live in an era where I love you in Shanghai, which is the voice I most want to make.
But when I walked to the Oriental Pearl Tower or near the foot of the Oriental Pearl, I felt very confused. I felt a lonely loneliness and sadness. Maybe it's because I do too much fantasy. I do too little and achieve too little. I'm thinking even if I'm a world famous person. Facing the Huangpu River to the east, I just think I'm a boat sailing in it. On board, besides being able to feel the greatness and tolerance of the city again, I feel that the most important thing is the dizziness brought by the rotation of the earth.
When I ride a bicycle, my way to work is to experience a section of country road, I often choose the same road to walk, I am eager to smell the fragrance of the soil, see the spring release of a pleasant green.
I often think of a song that was sung by Denver Country Road to take me home. I love the countryside because it is good for my physical and mental health, helps me think about myself and capture inspiration from nature. I often think of Kant's words: What keeps me in awe is the law of my heart and the stars above my head.
