When it comes to women, a impression of civility and politeness will rush into our mind. With the influence of traditional opinion, the majority of us have prejudice to women . Their role is to support men by staying in the home, cooking and raising their children without any passion to her own ambitions.
But now in the 21st century, we ought to realize women can alsomake a difference . From a survey of ACWF(the All-China Women's Federation) ,the results show more than 86% of the respondents believe that women have a strong sense of self - confidence and indenpence. At the same time, women's political partlcipation has increased. In the past five years , the partlcipation rate in the election of Deputies to local people's congresses was 73.4% for women and 77.6%for men , indicating a small gender difference. （Source: State Statistics Bureau）But gender discrimination still exists in such a modern society. Actually if we look at the recruitment information provided by many enterprises ,women are under great prejudice. The idea of "No married women " remains deep in our mind.
For all the women ,I should say we have right to work and to acquire real equal social status . Women can deal with their work perfectly and independently.
