The kingdom Sparta was very strong, but it was hard to see how they had brave fighters. The law was very cruel.
If I were the one who had a law, I will make it easy to do, and it doesn’t hurt, but it will still make all the children big and strong:
Warning: Girls can obey, but if they are sick, they don’t need to. But all the boys needed to. If you were sick, you can stay all day.
1, Girls need to go to school to learn how to spin clothes, weave silk, cook, make a tent, and to do housework.
2, Every family has 1 sheep, 1 pig, 1cow, 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 horse, and ten chickens. (Not tamed)
3, Every boy, when he is born, take care of him, give him all the things he needs.
4, When he can run, set fire, and stalk, give him the horse, and let him live on his own in the forest for three days(No animals, only some chickens in the forest). If he comes back, do all the things below. If not, we will find the boy for you, and he can play the rest of his life.
5, Every boy needs to eat chicken, drink milk, and eat good healthy food.
6, A boy will hunt with the grown-up men, swim、run、jump、skip、hop and ride animals every day.
7, When a boy grows to 18, let him go to the headmaster's tent to have a test, if he answers all the things the headmaster asks him, he can go to fight, but if not, he will have a regular man’s life.
