Research on the Access of American Public Cultural Services

[Abstract] The provision of public cultural services in the United States is jointly particpated by the government,enterprises,non-profit organizations and individuals,pursusing the maximization of the utilization rate of cultural resources and the satisfation of serivce objects,reading a high level of access.A large number of field research and case analysis show that the access improvement strategies of American public cultural services include:broadly responding,meeting the cultural needs of ordinary people and rarious specific groups,reducing the time and economic cost of user participation,carrying out public cultural activities such as art,entertainment,education,sports and social activities,and providing convenient serivces aimed at contacting culture,participation in culture and creation cultural.The guarantee of access is to implement the cooperation mechanism of resource integration and consideration of all stakeholders,so as to match all kinds of cultural resources and cultural needs,and realize the access of opportunities,capabilities,needs and effects of public cultural services.
