After having the world turmoil last year, Japan manages to rebound in 2021. The rescheduled Tokyo Olympic Games in July and the signing of ASEAN free trade deal will both boost Japan's economy. What's more, Japan's GDP returned to growth in last year indicating that Japan's economy will expand this year. However, this is nothing new for Japan for it has leading companies which devoted to innovating. Among them, Canon and Kikkoman are the best examples. Canon Chairman Fuji Mithras weathered short-term uncertainty by focusing on strategies for positive transformation and long-term growth. Beyond developing traditional businesses, he invested more in innovative areas such as medical and industrial equipment arms. Kukkoman CEO Yuzaburo was not only making then - revolutionary decision but also learning from experience to help his company go through difficult time. It's obvious that the society is hoping for more these great leaders to drive Japan's future success.
