I was very young when I inherited the throne. At that time, I had no experience. I need to open my horizons. I wanted to be a good princess and make Russia as a great nation.

Thereupon, I went to Europe for several years. I was so surprising when I arrived Europe at first.

I saw the constructions, they are much better than Russia. Especially the palace in Europe. In contrast, my palace was so simply and crude. When I saw the gorgeous palace, I decided to build one for myself in Russia.

I also saw farms. Unexpectedly, their technology of farming was much more advanced than us. Then, I realized that Russia had missed out on the technological advancements that swept through Europe, so I appointed scientists to educate the Russian people.

In addition, Europeans have trade links with some other countries. This makes them rich in resources. And we don't have any trade links. I want to build some allies.

In Europe, people don't dress as well as we do, men don't wear long beard. So I am going to abolish these old traditions.

The most important difference is the woman's rights. I saw girls at school. They also need educations.

I build up Russia’s naval power, making it a force to be reckoned with on the seas.

I viewed my trip to Europe as a journey of knowledge that would have the potential to positively impact the people.
