Install the Elastic Stack products you want to use in the following order:

Elasticsearch(install instructions)

X-Pack for Elasticsearch (install instructions)

Kibana (install)

X-Pack for Kibana (install instructions)

Logstash (install)

X-Pack for Logstash (install instructions)

Beats (install instructions)

Elasticsearch Hadoop (install instructions)

Elastic Stack version 6.2.3

Directory layout of RPMedit

The RPM places config files, logs, and the data directory in the appropriate locations for an RPM-based system:
