注：在英国的公共场所，如公园，广场，河边人行道等，会常见到供人休息的长椅。其中很多是当地普通人家捐献的。当你注意时，往往会看到长椅木板上刻着几个字，是捐献者对过世的亲人的怀念，一般记有死者名字，与捐献者的关系，以及出生与逝世的日子等。常见的英文如In memory of mother/father /uncle xxx (1935-2010) who loved to sit here。
又注: 成语“劳燕分飞”来自古诗“东飞伯劳西飞燕，黄伯织女时相见”，喻情人分离不得相见。这里变其意而用之，小鸟鸣叫唤情人/亲人回来。
