Last week I read a book called "Ball Lightning" by Cixin Liu. After I've finish this book I have lots of thoughts about the ideas in this book and I'll talk about in the third paragraph but firstly, let me write down the main content of this book briefly so you guys could understand.
Our main character 's parents was killed by the ball lightning in instant during a night with thunder storm ,lightning and heavy rain. After that, he addicted to the ball lightning and wanted to find out the truth of this amazing natural phenomena. After the failure of his two mentor, after days and days, nights and nights of calculations and inference, he was still failed and felt so powerless affront of the nature because he don't have any observation of the ball lightning. He heard about that someone has seen the ball lightning on the Tai mountain so he wet there. At Tai mountain, he met Lin Yun.
Lin Yun is a Major in CPLA and she is the daughter of General Lin. They are planning in a usage of lightning weapon and because our main character is a famous scholar in lightning field so she invited him to join the team for lightning weapon developing.
Because the join of our main character, the main goal of the whole team had changed to use the ball lightning as weapon instead of normal lightning weapon but before, they need to figure out -
What is Ball lightning? We only have a few clues, they are-
It shines, colour could be white, red, yellow, green, purple and sometimes grey.
It is not affected by air currents.
Sometimes it disappears and appears again.
It could flow through some solid existence.
Always happens in lightning weather.
It don't carries any electricity.
So they start finding the ball lightning and observe it. With the help of the famous physicist- Ding Yi they discovered that the ball lightning is nothing bout a electron with macro expansion and it has quantum condition ...........
After I finished this book, I was completely shocked by the imagination ability of the writer. His books' time line could be billions of years and billions of lightyears. I really enjoy reading this book.
