Ma Xiaoqiu:Suffering is to eliminate pain,off greed comes happy
常言道：＂人生苦短＂，这句话不难理解，意思是说，人生是痛苦而短暂的。纵观大千世界，芸芸众生，有多少人痛苦，又有多少人欢乐呢？通过现象我们可以看到人生苦乐各占一半。
As the saying goes:"Life is painful and short,"this sentence is not difficult to understand.It means that life is painful and short.Looking at the world,all living beings,how many people are suffering and how many people are happy?From the phenomenon we can see that life is half-bitter and half sweet.
人生的痛苦都来自内心深处放不下自己的得失，痛苦皆因自己所求不能如愿，或者是得到之后的失去。正如老子所言＂不知常，妄作凶＂，不知道事物的规律而乱思乱行，就产生了不好的结果，痛苦随之而升起。由于无知而乱做，我们自己制造了痛苦，当然要由我们自己来承受。人总在得失中欢乐着、痛苦着，这就是人世间一阴一阳的人之常道。
The pain of life comes from the depths of the mind that can't let go of one's own gains and losses,and the pain is due to one's desire not to be able to do so,or to be lost afterwards.As Lao Zhu said,"
The frivolous behaviors that do not recognize the natural laws often cause troubles and disasters."if we don't know the laws of things and think about things indiscriminately,we will get bad results,and the pain rises.Because of ignorance and chaos,we create our own pain,and of course we must bear it.People are always joyful and painful in their gains and losses.This is the normal course of a person in the world of Yin and Yang.
那么人生有没有少苦多乐，或常常欢乐的状态呢？其实是有的，只是我们不知道怎样的方法才能使我们远离痛苦而常常欢乐。
Does life have less bitterness and more joy,or is it often a state of joy?Actually there are,but we do not know what methods can make us often joy away from suffering.
佛学中有句话讲到了事物的真相，那就是＂受苦消苦，享福消福＂，这说明人在受苦的时候，正处在消除痛苦的过程中，无论是精神的痛苦或肉体的痛苦都是如此。因此当痛苦向我们袭来的时候，我们以接纳和欢喜的心态来对待，这时痛苦就随之而变成了欢乐，苦去方能甘来。
There is a saying in Buddhism that tells the truth of things,that is,"Suffering is to eliminate pain,enjoy is to remove one's blessing."This shows that when people suffer,they are in the process of eliminating suffering,whether it is spiritual pain or physical pain.That's it.So when pain comes to us,we treat it with an attitude of acceptance and rejoicing.At this time,the pain will turn into joy,and when the pain is gone and the good luck will come.
