As is demonstrated from my title,which is the end of the movie Troy, could also be the words of the deceased of that guy, Achilles.
Compared with Homer's Epic.The movie catch sight of two tragic heros,Hector and Achilles.Confronting whom,the superial Agamemnon can be so insignificant.
l uaed to admre Hector a lot,of course not changed up to now.His responsibility to Troy, his love to Palis,and his loyalty to Andromache,undoubted perfectly corresponding to my value of worth.As a asian,we may well worship this kind of person who apparently knows his tiny capacity can't afford changing the result of one big event.However,once they recognize it as a worthy cause.They will not make a twice decision.They live so tiredly,indefatigibly to undertaking so many duties.If the latter think them as saints,they deserve it.
As to Achilles,whose destiny may be a ceaseless traveller.By virtue of some fairtale bliss,such a wild person could he be.He fight for ancient Greek,then against it.As the son of goddness and a super hero,he conversely despise god and glance King with contempt.The elaborance of the story lies in that most of us judge Achilles as a man who is so cruel to crush against other's life without any conscience in the beginning.Thus,we hate him and curse him for his crime compared with Hector.So dramatic,l have to thoroughly change my impression about Achilles in the latter.First,we should confess that war will always deliver to death.We can't attach too much subject to this war.Secondly,despite of too much slaughter around Achilles,he always keep it in his mind that what to fight.The honor of Greek,the regret to his brother,and the promise to his love.l dare say,he is also a man of valuable belief.Different from Hector ,he chases for freedom.A brave man can never be such cruel people like Agamemnon or Apollo,ruling over the world or tricking people's life,but Achilles and Hector who know what they really value and cherish,thus they will protect them until the death.
Recently a film goes popular'dying to survive',a medicine sellor,a true hero,carrys too many shine of human nature.l am also in arrears of appreciation to these people.
From my perspective,Achilles's edge over Hector not only behaved in fight,but his treason,for one worthy cause,he may even fight against superior Apollo and Agamemnon,he is the true pride of ancient Greek.Of course Hector own too many edges over Achilles.
As the elegy to this epic war,just a whispper,so slight,so soft,but also so tragic,and so tremendous.
This is the era of Achilles!
