剧中阉人与首相有这么一段寓言式的对话，我觉得很经典。
阉人：“三个贵人坐在一个房间中，一个国君，一个僧侣，一个富翁。三人之间站着一名普通佣兵，每位贵人都命佣兵杀死另外二人。孰生？孰死？
-Three great men sit in a room,a king,a priest and a rich man.Between them stands a common sellsword.Each great man bids the sellsword kill the other two.Who lives?Who die?
首相：“那得由佣兵决定。”
-Depends on the sellsword
阉人：“是吗？他既没有王冠，也没有金银珠宝，更没有诸神的眷顾。”
-Does it?He has neither crown nor gold nor favor with the gods.
首相：“他有利剑，有决定生死的力量。”
-He has sword,the power of life and death
阉人：“既然生死决定于佣兵，我们又为何假装承认国王的权力至高无上呢？-力量存于人心，信则有，不信则无。”
-But if it's swordsmen who rule,why do we pretend kings all the power? Power resides where men believe it resides.
