Today is Thursday.
Amelia's mother asked Amelia if she had any more questions to ask. Amelia asked her mother to pass her some kale which her mother always wanted her to eat but Amelia didn't like eating. Her mother was so happy for Amelia's question that she let her father to give up his golf tournament on Saturday and help Amelia clean the lot which means a small area of land that belongs to a person or company. He said to Amelia, "You’re asking a whole lot."
On Saturday, the whole family were going to clean up the lot. They first went to a hardware store and bought some equipment. When they did the clean-up, Amelia's father found an old TV and started to play a show with Amelia as actors. Amelia's mother said to them, "Get the lead out!" That means to hurry or to move faster. When they almost finished picking up the trash, Amelia found that there might be someone in the old house looking at her. That was strange.
