The table charts presents information about the metro systems in six cities of Europe, US and Japan. It shows the opening date, kilometres of route and passengers per year.


London's undergroung has the longest history, it opened in 1863, with kilometres of 394 kilometres of route, and has 775 millions passengers per year.

Tokyo has the most passengers among 6 cities, with numerous number of 1927 millions per year, 400 times than LA,which is only 50 millions per year. Also in Japan, Kyoto has the least passsengers per year with the number of 45 millions people, and its route is also the least, wich is 11 kilometres.LA have the newest underground systems among 6 cities, it opened in 2001 and it is the only one that open in 21ST century. Paris underground opened exactly in 1900 with 199kilometres of route, and its is the second largest one in 6 cities. Washington has 144 millions passenger per year.


In gerneral, 5 cities open in 20th century, which is paris tokyo Washington and kyoto. 3 under 200kilometres, 2 under 30 kilomtere


The most striking information convey by the table is that London has both the longest and oldest subway line, whereas LA has the newest and kyoto has the shortest, with only 11 kilometres in length.

The lines in Paris and Tokyo both constrcted in the early part of the twentieth century, are of a similar length, yet they are considerly shorter than the line in London. The subway system in Washington Dc not built until 1976, lags slightly behind paris and tokyo at 126 kilometers, yet it is far longer than kyoto subway, built only 5 years later.

Tokyo boasts the busiest underground system, with almost 2 billion passengers a year, with Paris and London falling slightly behind 1191 million and 775 million respectively. Washington DC comes in forth on 144 million passengers per year, with Tokyo and LA almost tied on 45 million and 50 million passengers.

The graph presents the unemployment rates in the America and Japan every March from 1993 to 1999.

IN 1993, the US had an unemployment rates of 7.0% while Japan was in 2.5%. However From 1998, Japan and Us HAd a familar unemployment rates take the percentage of nearly 5% and in march 1999, they are the same.


The line graph demonstrates the varied proportions of people out of work in Japan and the US over a six-yra-period, with both countries showing an inversely proportionate alteration in levels of unemployment.

The unemployment rate in the US fell consistently between March 1993 and March 1999,. There were small fluctuations during the period  notably between 1994 and 1995 but eht overalltrend is a downword progression from a high of 7% of the work force in 1993 to a comparatievely small 5% in 1999.
