A simple man lived a simple life in a simple log cabin in the woods.
One evening, a thief visited the log cabin only to realize there was barely anything in it to steal.
The simple man found the intruder in his home and spoke to him.
“You must have come a long way to visit me. I don’t have much for you, but please, take this chair I sit in to watch the sun rise each morning.”
The thief, confused, grabbed the chair and sprinted away from the cabin.
The simple man went back to sleep and in the morning, he went to sit and watch the sun rise. He sat on the floor staring at the sun, thinking about the night before.
“Poor guy. If only I could have given him this beautiful sunrise.”
