Global Farm — Review on <Animal Farm> as a start
Every single story depicted with an animal perspective seems ridiculous. For instance, the cat in Natsume Soseki's work, the ape and dog in Franz Kafka's short stories, all seem absurd.
But the truth is, the exact same or even more ridiculous stories are happening everyday world widely in the human world. It's not surprising this happens because all those absurd stories are literally written by human beings who despise this damn world.
In the past century, or even only the recent five or six decades, the world has only begun to change a little bit. When you go to the literature written in the early twentieth century, you will figure out how the world was like and how similar it was as it is nowadays, especially the situation which sucks.
We all feel alone living in this world, complaining that others do not understand us. Actually, we do not really care about others as well. Even the inferiority is coming from self-consciousness.
Thus, we never satisfied with the world or other people while we always are truly ungrateful and bottomless with what others did for us.
This is one bloody reality of the world, and one of the essential reasons why the story came out in this Animal Farm.
If you want to ruin one union or even one individual, one efficient way is to let them exist under self-government without any interference. If they are smart enough, they would survive and organize themselves well and then you can negotiate or collaborate with them, achieving a win-win ending.
However, in many cases, such as in this metaphor, they would screw everything up and ruin their own lives.
On the other side, this can also be considered as a seek for equality for all races. When the slaves were still legal in Europe and the United States, people who were serving fought for their own rights as the animals did on this farm.
The way to liberate and real freedom is tough and a long journey, along which there must be torture and suffering. For a community or large as a country, the way would be much tougher because we have to overcome human nature including rapacious and stubbornness.
So be patient, we will get there at the end.
I’m obsessive at this time point to write this review using the same language as the fiction.
Although it might seem naively written and there must be linguistic mistakes right now, I believe one day I will be better at both logical thinking and writing skills.
