Tomb sweeping day is the day in April from Chinese lunar calendar. At that day people come back hometown, go to the mountain, clean tombs to memorize the deceased to pay their respect，make offerings sacrifice to the ancestors. Another important thing is to remind the younger members or new generation to remember to give thanks for family and the gift of life，acknowledge the history of the family and culture handover.
In addition, as the spring comes and everywhere gets green, people often go picnicking, hiking, play kites or plant willows.
