The Location of Eden
伊甸园的位置
The Bible tells us the location of the Garden of Eden:
圣经告诉我们伊甸园的位置：
<< Genesis 2:10 14 >> [And a river went forth out of Eden to water the Garden; and from thence it was parted into four heads. The name of the first is Pison (today called Wadi Al-Batin, a dried river bed; it flowed from the limestone of north-central Saudi Arabia): that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah (today called Saudi Arabia), where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
And the name of the second river is Gihon (today called the Nile river): the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel (today called the Tigris river): that is it, which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.]

The key to locating the Garden of Eden is to first note that the river that went through the Garden of Eden was parted into four heads; meaning the four rivers joined together at that point before flowing into the Persian Gulf.
The top two sets of rivers were the Tigris and the Euphrates, and the bottom two rivers were Wadi Al-Batin and the Nile.
确定伊甸园位置的关键是首先要注意，流经伊甸园的河流被分成了四道;意思是这四条河流在汇入波斯湾之前汇合在一起。前两条河是底格里斯河和幼发拉底河，后两条河是巴丁河和尼罗河。
Notice that Palestine and Egypt are connected through the Sinai Peninsula. Recall that Genesis chapter two is describing geography the way it was before the flood. At that time the continents and all of the landmasses were connected as one major continent surrounded by one ocean. It was the global flood at the time of Noah which caused the earth to become unstable and the continents to drift apart!

Genesis 2:10－14 is telling us that these four bodies of water, the Tigris, the Euphrates, Wadi Al-Batin and the Nile, met to form one river in the Garden of Eden before flowing into the Persian Gulf. Therefore, today the Garden of Eden would be located in Hor, of Southern Iraq, where the waters of the Tigris and the Euphrates meet in the marshy Shatt-al-Arab delta.
《创世纪》2:10－14告诉我们，底格里斯河、幼发拉底河、巴丁河和尼罗河这四大水，在汇入波斯湾之前，在伊甸园汇合成一条河。因此，今天的伊甸园将位于伊拉克南部的何珥，那里是底格里斯河和幼发拉底河在沼泽般的沙特阿拉伯三角洲汇合的地方。
