When hearing the sentence "I trust you", a lot of people feel encouraged. Different people influence us in different aspect. So whose encouragement do you expect the most?
Well, as they say, trust is earned, not freely given so I would expect this from two people.
First of course would be my husband because he can help me grow personally. I want to hear "Hi, honey, I trust you because you're so great and I'm happy to have you as my wife, I trust you not only because you're perfect in handling our family but with your job as well, I trust you because you're always there to deal with some issues in the family when I was busy, you never blamed me, you always understand me and even help me to cope with each issue. Yes, in some way you are not perfect, you are afraid of the dark and couldn't even replace a light bulb but you may ask me how to do that and you will do it well and I trust you because you trust me too."
Second is my boss because he can help me grow professionally. I want to get confirmation for my work. If I get an award from my client, I still need to hear it from my boss. If my boss encourages me, I will work harder and I will also feel a sense of achievement. I want my boss to say " I trust you because I know you can do this job and I know you can do it well, I trust you because you're worth it, I trust you because you work hard".
In this life, a little encouragement can go a long way but if no one encourages you, if no one trusts you, if no one believes in you then you should trust yourself.
