reading book→ 应为“reading books”(可数名词)。

修改后的

Although we can now access almost all the information we need through social media and the internet—especially with the rise of AI, which seems to make knowledge attainable with just a click—I still firmly believe that reading books and practicing critical thinking remain essential and irreplaceable in our daily lives.

AI tends to provide similar or even identical answers to everyone, which may create practical issues or unnecessary competition. Even worse, it discourages proactive thinking and gradually builds our dependence on it. Over time, many people may lose the ability to think independently, analyze deeply, and reflect critically. Sometimes, AI even fabricates facts, blurring the line between the real world and virtual reality.

On the other hand, imagine someone who reads with intention, takes notes with care, and consistently engages in critical thinking—such a person is far more likely to master AI technology and use it creatively. It’s like giving wings to a tiger.

So in conclusion, as much as AI brings convenience, access to information, and support for innovation, we cannot afford to abandon the foundational skills that define human intelligence: reading profound books, engaging in meaningful conversations, and creating new knowledge. After all, AI does not create knowledge—humans do.

再次修改

Although we can find almost any information we need through social media and the internet—especially now that AI has made data just a click away—I still firmly believe that reading books and practicing critical thinking remain essential.

AI often gives everyone similar, if not identical, answers. That can create practical problems, intensify competition, and—worse—discourage proactive thought. Over time, we risk losing the ability to think, analyze, and reflect for ourselves. AI systems can even “hallucinate,” inventing facts that do not exist and blurring the line between virtual and real.

By contrast, someone who reads deeply, takes careful notes, and cultivates critical thinking is far better prepared to master AI and use it wisely—like adding wings to a tiger. In short, while AI delivers convenience, broader access to knowledge, and faster innovation, we must not abandon foundational skills such as deep reading, meaningful conversation, and original creation. After all, AI does not create knowledge; humans do.
