After watching The Good Doctor, l was attracted and had a crush on Freddie Highmore. And l went through many talk shows finding that he says british accent so perfectly. l can say that he is the second person who uses his british accent catching my ear so sucessfully. Every sound pronunciated precisely plus soft voice, the whole making his RP so attractive to me. And l have been watching Bates Motel, his last episode before the good doctor in the past few days.
The GD and BM forms a sharp comparsion, btween good and evil or l need to change the word. Not evil, but distorted. l finished BM this afternoon, the desciption of this episode is thriller, horror movie, suspense and feature film. But after watching, in my opinion it is not horrible as what l thought before. There are no many such bloody or disgusting scenes in it, however, l still feel a little scared of this drama series. l cannot figure out the reason clearly. Maybe this is the most successful point that a great thriller should reach. And it does very well throughout the whole series, including characters actors atmosphere in it and so on.
About the ending of this series, Norman was shot by his brother Dylan and l think it ought to be the best ending for Norman, he could not live on alone with such terrible experience and lives that he murdered. He is a tragedy, a totall tragedy. His life has been ruined gradually by his loved, so does his mental health. Although struggles have been made, they are too weak and too late to beat down his second personality. l do not know how to say it, about who is wrong and who should take responsibility of tragedy caused by abnormal love and distorted belonging relationship. The whole story is depressing and it seems that all the things that goes do not follow a normal path or the direction that you want them to go. Norma is seemed to lie all the time by the reason that she trys to protect Norman and their life. A lie needs thousands of lies to make the nice world in the lie up. To release the burden of both side, why not face the truth even it is hurt but it is better than avioding the truth whitewashing it which could cause much more serious consequences. For example, Norman's failure in fighting his mental issues and second personality.
Norma tolerated a lot in the past so she loves and trys to protect Norman so much. l think l get it, but there are still many deeds of her l could not understand. lt is not easy to make them clear. People is complex so it is hard to know or understand others' words or deeds.
All in all, BM is an excellent drama series, with five seasons connected so closely, plots designed reasonably and actors perfomed so vividly. It cannot be denied that this is a great work which portraits the dark side and weakness of human being and miserable destiny it is doomed to be.
Norman's image has left a impressive impresion on me, and when l continue the GD, Norman's image came out. l am in a mess between these two characters
get Norman out of my mind and l need to focus on Morphy
Freddie is really a great and potential actor, l can tell that from these episodes he acted, Norman or Morphy. Nither of these two are normal, one is a serial killer with mental disease the other is a brilliant doctor with autism. Next time please just be a normal person in plays
Ps: Bates Motel is a good episode but l do not recommand because it is a little bit dark and depressing. And if you really want to watch, to open the bullet screen will be a wise choice because some amusing ones will release the atmosphere of the episode.
How could a man grow so cute and so conpetent. Absolutly, he is my type now
