所以，可见 la5-ing5 是享受悠闲的意思。ing5 不是“闲”，因为闲在泉州读作 uiⁿ5, 而非 ing5。

这里还特别提到关于奴仆的：sēng-khi-la, to spoil, as child or slave-girl, by allowing too great liberties.

用在《荔镜记》里面骂陈三刚好合适，陈三此时的身份就是奴仆。

《闽南方言大词典》注释说：1、不自量、2、自吹自擂。（跟《厦英》的解释难以对应起来）唯一相同的词是：穷挂la5-ing5：穷，但是又不劳动，爱享受悠闲。引申义可以是不自量。
